APRUE has always asserted its interest and commitment to promoting applied research and technological development in the field of energy management.
As a result, APRUE has increased its cooperation with the scientific research community through various partnerships with research centers and national universities.
National Research Programs (NRP):
APRUE is committed to working with the higher education and scientific research sector to implement national research programs (NRP) dedicated to energy security.
In this context, APRUE has committed to:
A partnership with Belhadj Bouchaib University in Ain Temouchent and Prof. Hafida Marouf’s team to develop a national research project on bio-sourced materials with high thermal potential designed to improve the thermal performance of building envelopes while taking sustainability aspects into account.
A partnership with Houari Boumediene University in Bab Ezzouar, Algiers, and Prof. Mohamed BOUDOUR’s team to develop a national research project on “Building’s flexibility for the integration of the national renewable energy program.”
The Permanent Sectoral Committees (PSCs) for scientific research and technological development.
APRUE has joined the sector’s PSC.
Thematic research networks:
Launched by the Thematic Research Agency for Science and Technology (ATRST), these networks bring together academics, businesses and representatives of civil society with the aim of pooling skills and resources, developing R&D projects around the network’s themes, promoting the transfer of knowledge, expertise and research results to the socio-economic sector, and ensuring scientific and technological monitoring.
In this context, in 2023, the Agency integrated the first thematic research network on “Hydrogen.”

Les réseaux thématiques de recherche :
Lancés par l’Agence Thématique de Recherche en Sciences et Technologie (ATRST), ces réseaux permettent de regrouper les universitaires et les entreprises ainsi que les représentants de la société civile dans le but de fédérer les compétences et mutualiser les moyens, développer des projets R&D autour des thématiques du réseau, favoriser le transfert du savoir et du savoir-faire et des résultats de la recherche vers le secteur socio-économique et assurer la veille scientifique et technologique.
Dans ce cadre, l’Agence a intégré, en 2023, le premier réseau thématique de recherche en « Hydrogène ».
