The tertiary building sector is considered one of the most energy-intensive, with consumption often
exceeding 500 TEP per year. These establishments are subject to the energy audit introduced by
Decree No. 05-495 of 24 Dhou El Kaada 1426 corresponding to December 26th, 2005, concerning
mandatory periodic energy audits of large energy-consuming establishments.
Energy audits must therefore be carried out by people qualified in the building sector, to ensure
quality not only in terms of the economic benefits they generate, but also in environmental terms.
To address these concerns, and given the number of requests recorded during 2018, a training
session has been scheduled for experts and study offices
In accordance with the interministerial order of September 29th, 2010 on auditor approval
procedures, candidates must hold an engineering degree or equivalent university diploma in one of
the following technical specialties:
– Mechanical, energy and thermal engineering
– Chemical engineering
– Process Engineering
– Electrical engineering
– Electromechanics
